The driving school doesn't take any responsibility on possible injuries during the entire course. That's why an additional requirement of the driving school is the student to have an insurance which covers risks during the course.
By law during the practical part of the course the student must have the helmet, gloves, knee protectors and a face mask which are his/her own.
The student is not allowed to attend driving classes with short pants.
The driving course is provided in English, including the exams.
Duration of the driving course
In case you already have a driving license for a motor vehicle category B:
One mandatory theoretical class
A theoretical exam
In case you don't have any driving license yet, you have to attend 36 mandatory theoretical classes.
20 mandatory driving classes, the duration of each one is for 50 minutes.
You are allowed to take maximum 2 classes per day. The majority of these classes is at the training area of the school where you will be trained in five elements. Then you have to drive in city conditions.
A driving exam.
It contains two parts: the first one is to make the exercises at the training area. If you succeed the first part, you get the right to do the second one - driving in city conditions for at least 25 minutes being navigated by the exam inspector and your driving instructor via hands free device.

According the Bulgarian traffic law, you are allowed to have any driving license if only you can prove that you have completed 10th grade. In case you haven't graduated from Bulgaria, you have to recognize your 10th grade certificate or your final high school diploma or your university degree. The driving school office will guide you through the whole procedure which should go parallel with the driving course.
The First Aid course certificate for giving pre-medical help in case of road accidents.
The medical clearance stating your health as a driver of a motor vehicle category A1 (the same one you provided to enroll the course).
Important
If you are a holder of an EU driving license which is not Bulgarian one, you are allowed to register for the motorcycle course using it.
When you complete the course, you have to add category A1 in your driving license.
Because you are a Bulgarian resident, the traffic police office will recognize your EU driving license adding category A1 by issuing a Bulgarian driving license. If one day your Bulgarian residence expires, you just have to swap the Bulgarian driving license with the license of the EU country where your current address is, without losing your categories and without passing any exams.

Yes, you must have a Bulgarian residence permit to register, regardless of your nationality.
The license is issued only after you have at least 6 months of residence in Bulgaria from the date of your first permit.
It includes 38 classes: 4 mandatory in-person Saturday sessions (9 a.m.–1 p.m.) and the rest via an online platform.
Theory classes expire 6 months after completion. You must pass your theory exam within this period.
Beginners must complete 31 practical driving classes, each lasting 50 minutes.
